Yes the service center will send your employer a curtesy copy and attorney the origial approval. Once you get the Feel bill letter and send the cachiers check, they will create a case and send the packet 3. in which you can find the NVC case number.

I have a feeling that they will HAVE To process EAD's in 90 days( that's what the current rule says ) or reinstate the Interim EAD's - terminating Interim EAD seems like the dumbest move they ever made. If either of these doesn't happen, lawsuits are sure to follow. So, don't worry too much about it my friend.
Please see in the USCIS web site that you have to apply 6 months in advance if you are renewing EAD. With so many I485s, EADs, APs flooding the Service centers, you need to apply the EAD now if you want to use it after 6 months from now.

And expecting folks like you to stand-up for yourself and do something about this is even more foolish.
One more thing, only desi consulting companies are not the problem. Companies who figure out a way to take advantage of its employees, will do so. All companies are in the business of making bigger bucks for its shareholders. If they can figure out a way to make more, they will, even at the cost of taking advantage of immigrants. Desi companies figured out the loop holes first. Some of the other companies followed, others are still learning. It can be argued that % of such elements in desi consulting are more because they were the first to figure out the loopholes. But desi companies are not the only group taking advantage of immigrants. They are all the same. And folks like yourself feed into the problem. So please stop blaming just the desi consulting companies, because all companies are the same. Some companies have not yet figured out the ways to take advantage of immigrant employees. But these comapnies are learning fast, because they want to be competitive, right?
The actual problem is, the Congress. Lawmakers are the problem. They know everything what is going on. They know that not just desi companies but even larger companies take advantage of the vulnerable part of the society - the immigrants. Inspite of having all the information, the lawmakers deliberately did not add necessary protections for immigrants. And, even if the system becomes more efficient, people who enjoy the gutter will continue to live in the gutter. No laws or protections can help folks like you. Every now and then, just come to forum like these and rant once in a while. That's what you will do. The fact is you do not need better treatment or benefits. You need better therapy to tell you that you can come out of the gutter.

I am in a similar situation. I applied for my first LC based on Skilled employee (Category 3) because my first job financial analyst only required a bechelor degree even though I have a masters degree then I filed for the I-140 (priority date May 2005). then I got a promotion to a senior financial analyst which requires a masters degree. so I automatically could apply file a second LC to file under (category 2 which is current). however my cecond LC was denied because the DOL thinks that there is no difference between the 1 job (financial analyst) and the second job (senior financial analyst) with the same company. so I checked with my lawyer and he said that I can file for appeal so the DOL will review their decision and realize that it was wrong. I did file for appeal in Sep 2006 and I ve been waiting since then. does anybody know or have any idea how long the appeal normally takes so they can make a decision on my case?? please advise. Thank you

There is 200k application without 140 approval, this is including july filers.
there is lot of chnace for those who got their I-140 approved, even their PD '2006.
you can see people getting approved PD'2005 EB2 cases, even then VB says now 2004'apr for EB2.They are not processing based on PD now and in future also i gues.Since we have already filed.PD will restrict only to File I-485 in future.

I think it is all individual....lot of people are going back
New guys like us are stuck......the only problem...is getting GC only does not solve...we have to get the citizenship...another 5 years atleast....
Stock market is not doing good, housing market has crashed....so people are migrating back....
I am looking into it...instead of wasting time following this GC crap...
All things in life has PROS and CONS. Hindsight is always 20/20.
I recently visited India Western and Northern) after 4.5 years. I was totally shocked.. India has become better and better. But all better comes with some bad too. Like staying in USA has the same as well good and bad.
Anyways, we all made choice (we were not pushed/forced) to come here. Again, it is our own choice to go back if we want to. Also, if life in US is better or India is better, cannot be judged as it all depends on each individuals thinking and position.
I can tell you about my sister(Real sister), she and her family moved to Mumbai in 2006 and came back two months back. Both Sister and Bro-in-law were doing great here(became US citizens 5 years back), they wanted to move just because of kids. They came back because of their kids.
IMHO let�s put this topic to rest.

I think Immigration Voice should stop this stupidity of catering to a community that cannot split $20 per month.
I think most members feel that things were going great without immigration voice when we were dis-organized, without any lobbying power and without an professional help.
I think most members are hoping that lawmakers will take pity on them at some point in time, and start working on their own so really why waste $20. How much stuff can $20 buy? Why waste it on Immigration Voice. Why not take your wife to a movie for $20. That's money well spent.
IV Core: Stop asking for funds and get back on with your life. Dont you have a life, a family, a job? Dont you worry about your own jobs when you divert attention from your daytime job to this stupid website and activities? I am EB-3 India and I am just 16 years away from my Green Card. My daughter would turn 21 in 2025 and then she would be able to file for our GC under family category. Also, I would celebrate my 25 years on "temporary visa" status in 2025.

Lets download .. sign it by many and send it to them and Print it there on BOLD "Change our status and give us our residency soon"...
this way we prove that we are LEGALS and we will create publicity

We are working really hard to get our amendments in. Please understand, we are not doing this for fun. We are into this just like you for our green cards. It would really help if we get support instead of having to answer the same questions over and over

But again, we are going full steam with this as it means as much to us as to you. And remember, we are a voluntary non-profit organization. hope you are right my friend. EB3->2 are handful (no point really in going ballistic on them).
Thought there were lot of BECs clearing out the older PDs and that's why they are shutting doors on us. And, of course, their databases are getting upgraded so they are stalling the process till Oct 29.
