it might seem like eb2 has moved.. and it has from last month...but this is where we were at in april 2006 (may2006 bulletin -1st jan 2003) before the dates stagnated for a cupl of months, became unavailable and finally moved backwards in october.
so basically no movement for 7 months.

Let us hear more info from the IV core about the SKIL bill and why the dems voted nay for it. Just do not go analyzing things from your perspective, on a public forum.

It is better to make two trips and do a civil wedding i know it is expensive imagine if she has a work permit u can make up for the cost in no time else she will not be able to work for many many years.
I am in a similar situation getting married in Sep07 and returning with my wife at end of Sep'07. It is little scary, as some say it might be risky not to apply along with the spouse.
Should I go ahead and apply for I485, EAD and AP all three at the same time now, or to apply just for I485?
I am not sure what advantage would be applying now, as I have to wait until the dates become current again, and I will not be able to use my EAD to maintain my wife's H-4 status.

USCIS has opted not to use its limited financial resources to extract data from current systems and prefers to spend it on prospective systems that are years in the planning. For example, USCIS has not made corrections to the CLAIMS 3 system to capture data on applicants’ priority date information, country of nationality, and the preference category under which the application is filed that USCIS must review before the application is accepted for green card processing. (page 13)
Failing to correct the system annually results in hundreds, if not thousands, of wasted hours by all levels of USCIS leadership in trying to account for an often asked question by Congress, the Ombudsman, stakeholders, and others: “Exactly how many employment-based green card applications does the agency have pending?” USCIS still cannot answer that question today with certainty. I am also in PA and my DL(driving licence) will expire in last of September month and my H1b extension is still pending at California Center . Can i get DL renewed from PENNDOT on the basis of Receipt Notice of H1b Extension and a letter from employer ?

in my humble opinion, we will never find justice and fairness here.
the reason why we will not find justice is that our suffering is creating profits for the people with power and who vote.
your freedom is reduction in their profits. exactly the slave-master thinking. they will try their best to delay your freedom.
at my last employer (a large, respectable financial firm), they kept saying "GC next year" till they said "GC last months of 5th year". I was just a few months from that time, but i quit them in disgust anyway. doing GC with them would have meant another 5-6 years with those creeps.
this is classic zero-sum thinking. you'll see it everywhere in the US. you just have to be sharper at seeing politics. only you can protect your interests.

I got a new job and joined on EAD. left 3 yr h1 validity for this job
Current ead expires on sept 5 th, if i don't get renewal by then , i would lose my job as it's big company. I field on June 24th and receipt date is june 25th

You should fill out a form with the Ombudsman. Just google for it. They should help you with your case.
Is your NC cleared? Have you taken an infopass to confirm your biometrics and NC is all clear? There have been cases where fingerprinting was done but it wasn't reflected in the case status.

Correct, there are problems with the online status with TSC.
My AP status say pending since 10/04/2007, I got my AP documents from attorney this afternoon.Still the status says pending.

Thanks for clarifying. IV appreciates support from LGBT community. You have done amazing amount of work for IV in the recent past. Some of the Bay area folks still remember your leadership at 5K run at San Francisco Golden Gate. You created a decent amount of buzz by bringing along your friends all the way to California.
IV members: Having said that, I would just like to remind some IV members to be mindful of the fact that we enjoy support from diverse groups of people and it makes sense to extend reciprocal courtesy when responding to some of the posts here e.g. the UAFA bill etc.

The intent of the UAFA is to allow US Citizens and permanent residents to sponsor their foreign-born partners for permanent residency by means of demonstrating a "permanent partnership". Let me re-emphasize, this bill is geared primarily for the LGBT Community of which I am a proud member, so if you are supporting this bill, my thanks to you.
